Colleen and Brian and their girls are one of those families that you can’t help but want to befriend.  During the planning process for Colleen and Brian’s spectacular wedding, there were countless phone calls and visits to the Estates.  Every bridal show between Fort Myers and Naples, I’d see their smiling faces.  To watch this beautiful wedding take place was bittersweet because it meant I wouldn’t see them as often.

Below are the photos from Luminare Foto that document not only their wedding, but their engagement session at the Edison & Ford Winter Estates and their family holiday photo session here as well.  Though their official wedding color was purple, and there were Florida elements like the beach and fishing abound, I think the real theme of this wedding was their family.

Wedding trends are always changing, but our favorite is the handmade, the DIY, and the vintage wedding theme.  This June, Erin & Adam tied the knot at the Edison & Ford Winter Estates in a style all their own.  Take a look at all the handmade details that went into making their wedding day one of a kind and read our interview with the bride.

How did you & Adam meet?

“I had just moved to Tampa and Adam came into the restaurant I worked at with a bunch of his friends. They were loud and a lot of fun and Adam had a sweet tie-dyed bandana around his neck with crazy hair and beard. I told my friend that night (even before I had talked to Adam) that I was going to marry him.”

Erin & Adam met each other in the Moonlight Garden for a "First Glimpse" before their nuptials.

What made you decide to choose the Edison & Ford Winter Estates as your wedding venue?

“Adam and I, both, love tress, nature and history, so the Estates were perfect. We also really loved that it was on the water without being on the beach.”

Style and sophistication are the terms that come to mind when describing Amanda and Matt’s November wedding at the Edison & Ford Winter Estates in Fort Myers, FL.  The couple glammed things up with a classic black and white color palette, a jaw-dropping vintage inspired gown (paired with a cathedral length fishnet veil), and an antique Model T getaway car.  Jesse Netsch Photography was there to document the elegance.
